Samavayo

Samavayo is an extraordinary band consisting of musicians
who have played together since their school days in Berlin
which is where they all hail from apart from the frontman,
who is originally from Teheran (Iran).
Samavayo is rock, pure and simple. Free from unnecessary
technical gadgets. As you used to be able to say before,
which is still true now, is that if you are able to identify
what makes a really good song then you will be able to make
classics. It is the melody, the arrangements, the way in
which a song is played live that make a classic song.
Samavayo are a live band and they try to make music in
the same way that Hitchcock made films. His motto was
‘An effect is only worthwhile if it supports the content’

Samavayo are all about content. You have to work hard to
get credibility. You have to go your own way.
The possibility of failure is something all bands have to
take into consideration and that’s particularly true of
Rock ‘n’ Roll. Samavayo lives Rock ‘n’ Roll.
No jobs on the side, just living to play and playing to live.
Their shows are easily 90 mins long, any longer and their
 ardent fans would be exhausted!

Samavayo are looking forward to stepping out of the underground
in 2008. Once and for all. The current EP in radiant white
illustrates their pop side. The other one in black will
only be available at gigs and it embodies their musical roots.

Samavayo is the softest rock band in the world. Samavayo also
have a very good sense of humour which is demonstrated in their
first video and which proves that humour and rock don’t have to
be separated. With this record Samavayo wants to whet your
appetite to see them play live. That’s all that counts.
Live and in complete contact with their fans
